Schadrack KAHILU and Lydia MASENGO KAKUKA are the first to graduate from the IEL school in Dilambwe, DRCongo. These two have worked hard, battled adversity, overcome great odds, and through the strength and the will of the Father have become the first in their families and the village of Dilambwe to graduate from high school.

Schadrack KAHILU has spent the last several years serving as a security guard to the school and church in Dilambwe, while also staying on top of his studies.  As a young man, he saw a need and stepped in to fill it. He has faithfully served in this capacity while working towards graduation. Schadrack is hoping to pursue a law degree at University. We are so proud of him.  Our prayers and congratulations are with him as he prepares to take the next step the Lord has planned for him. Well done, Schadrack!

Lydia MASENGO KAKUA, a beautiful young lady, has remained committed to her studies these last few years.  Graduating from high school is a dream for many in Dilambwe, but one that has often felt out of reach.  Lydia has worked hard and pursued a path that has been challenging and sometimes tenuous, but through faith and trust in the Lord has persevered to the end.  She has dreams of entrepreneurship and is hoping to soon open her own sewing shop. We are so proud of her and our prayers and congratulations are with her as well, as she steps into what the Lord has for her.  Well done, Lydia!
